PetroAlgae (OTCBB: PALG) is the first renewable energy company to commercialize a drop-in replacement for fossil fuels. The company licenses an innovative commercial micro-crop technology that enables the large-scale production of green fuels as well as a high-value protein co-product.  The company's fuels are functionally identical to petroleum-based fuels and therefore use the existing industry infrastructure.

Key Products:
We precisely manage the exposure to light to dramatically increase the productivity of indigenous micro-organisms in open pond bioreactors, thereby creating micro-crops of unprecedented commercial value. The micro-crops are harvested every few hours and then pressed creating two products— a high-protein liquid and a high-carbohydrate/lipid rich mash. The protein is used for animal feed and in the future will become a direct course of protein for humans. The mash is sent to a normal refinery and produces a renewable, drop-in “green fuiels”.
